This Is What Happens When People Are Tricked Into Believing That Biblical Quotes Are From The Quran

A Dutch YouTube channel, Dit Is Normaal, conducted a social experiment in which they told people they were reading quotes from the Quran, but in actuality, the quotes were from the bible.  How do you think people would react?

Some of the quotes include:

  • If you reject my commands and abhor my laws, you will eat the flesh of your own sons and daughters. (Leviticus 26:29)
  • I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. (1 Timothy 2:12)
  • If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity. (Deuteronomy 25:11-12 NIV)

This is what the respondants had to say:

“It bothers me that some people see these old writings as the absolute truth.”

“WTF?”

“What the Hell?”
