Most people turn to bananas as a high source of potassium but did you know there are much higher sources?
If your body isn’t getting enough potassium, it looks to sodium to replace the loss… and that’s not good for cellular longevity! But having high levels of potassium can be equally as dangerous – especially to the kidneys! Check your levels with a doc or a self testing kit before embarking on something drastic.
And baked vegetables retain all of their potassium, but it does not increase the amount. To reduce, soak potatoes and squash for 2 hours or boil them.
